History

This 51 year old male presented for a skin check, he was not concerned by these lesions on his inner thigh and thought they had been there a long time.

Question: What is your clinical diagnosis?

Answer: The clinical looks like a banal nevus



Question: What is your dermatoscopic diagnosis?

Answer: This is more worriesome asymmetrical pigmentation with brown dots suggesting a melanoma.



Question: What do you think the histology will show?

Answer: Histology showed LEVEL 3 MALIGNANT MELANOMA, BRESLOW THICKNESS 0.60MM SUPERFICIAL SPREADING INTRAEPIDERMAL COMPONENT. PARTIAL REGRESSION NOTED.PRE-EXISTENT NAEVUS IDENTIFIED.
