Description: Pigmented lesion on nose showing perifollicular pigmentation, grey circles and lines reticular.

History:

This lesion had varying pigmentation and was thought to be a lentigo maligna. However a shave biopsy showed only a pigmented solar keratosis. This lesion gives grey circles as does lentigo maligna and lichen planus like keratosis and pigmented Bowen's disease. You may well need a biopsy to make the diagnosis.
