Description: Dermoscopy image - There was a question as to the possible presence of pseudopods but there was only one pattern and one colour so this naevus was predictably benign
History: A dermatologist requested that this lesion be excised. Histology revealed it to be a benign compound naevus. Due to it having been present from early childhood at least it may well have been a congenital naevus, as its dermoscopic appearance suggests.
