Description: Well in focus vessels which snake around the follicles: they give a strange image of vascular network. The clues to the diagnosis can be: the greyish areas east, and the ulceration north. A pitfall: the prominent follicular plugs.
History: A 52 years old lady who has noticed this lesion of the neck some months ago. It was a superficial basal-cell carcinoma with an unusual vascular pattern. The clues to the diagnosis being a small ulceration and some dirt-grey slightly pigmented areas.
