Description: largely featureless lesion with brown dots and a few poorly visualised fine vessels centrally. Biopsied to exclude melanocytic lesion.

History: changed macule on had of 76yo woman, multiple previous BCCs. Histology reported as: Sections show deeply pigmented solar lentigo with prominent melanin incontinence. There is no atypical melanocytic proliferation. It shows early progression to seborrhoeic keratosis.
