Description: Dermoscopy- Calcifying areas.

History:

Presented with a 'lump' on the back of her neck of three weeks duration which has been interfering with clothing.She denies any pre-existing lesion in that area.It was lobulated ,firm and non tender.

Histopathology:   PILOMATRIXOMA,with presence of characteristic basaloid and ghost-cell areas.

It is also known as 'calcifying epithelioma of Melherbe & Chenantais'.

Age range-median : It is bimodal with > 60% are under twenty years old and second peak takes place between sixth & seventh decades.Appears usually on the face(head &neck),shoulder and upper arm.
