Description: Dermoscopic description: Pseudonetwork of the face.

History:

The lesion was present since childhood. According to her mother it was enlarging slowly the last 3-4 years.

Dermoscopic description: Pseudonetwork of the face, prominent hairs.

The color varies from different shades of brown to blue-gray.

The dermal nevus of the face or Miescher nevus (first described by Miescher in 1956) has a rather distinctive clinical, dermoscopic and histopathologic appearance. (Clinically it is described as a broad based nodular lesion , usually on the face, smoothe surfaced and sometimes only mildly pigmented. See this reference IMCC Editor)
