Description: Papule on nose. Note the diffuse reddish colour and the pink or whitish colour in the lesion representing fibrosis.

History: This lesion had grown over a 6 month period. No bleeding. It felt very firm. This is an angiofibroma. It contains both angiomatous elements and fibrosis. Pyogenic granuloma, amelanotic melanoma and Kaposi's sarcoma can look similar dermatoscopically.Sometimes this lesion is called a fibrous papule but this would be a giant variant.
