Description: Lateral Arm - nodular lesion. Note the collarette around the periphery of the lesion.
History: This nodular lesion had arisin over a period of 5 weeks and begun bleeding. There was no history of trauma. The patient was an aeromedical evacuation nurse. Shave biospy revealed a pyogenic granuloma, an important differential diagnosis of melanoma best made on histology.
