History

This is to show how pattern analysis works
1. How many patterns? Which patterns? More than one pattern, to wit, lines reticular, structureless zones, clods. These patterns are arranged asymmetrically.
Hint: Whenever you see lines reticular exclude a non-melanocytic lesion. In this case, there is no clue to a non-melanocytic lesion.
2.How many colors? Which colors? > 1, brown and blue
3. Clues: A blue and structureless, eccentric zone is a clue to melanoma
Diagnosis: Melanoma, there is no other possible diagnosis
