This 49 yr old patient with sparodic Atypical Mole Syndrome, has had several dysplastic nevi excised. He presented with this "changing mole" on the dorsum of the hand. Sorry no macro or clinicl images.
Question: What does the dermoscopy show?
Answer: This is an unusual dermatoscopic presentation. The blue suggests a deeper dermal pigment but the orange structure suggests a seborrhoeic keratosis crypt. There is no network but it does not look like a BCC!
Question: What do you think the histology will show?
Answer: Histology was - Sectioning has revealed a metallic foreign body with iron staining the surrounding tissue. There is no evidence of malignancy.
