Description: Blue clods, White structures, blotches and streaks , fine linear vessels superiorly, background erythema

History:

72 years old female with a 6 week history of this lesion appearing on her forehead. I considered BCC and Melanoma for this or even Merkel cell carcinoma because of the rapid growth but it was a pilomatixoma. Because of the rapid growth I asked the pathologist to recheck for pilomatrix carcinoma but the benign diagnosis stood. Excised with 2 mm clinical margins.
