Description: Reticular pattern rather than a pattern of circles
History:
Pigmented lesion on the leg showing a reticular pattern. Clinically this was a dermatofibroma. Usually the reticular pattern is peripheral with some white structures centrally of the dermal collagen but here the whole surface was a reticular pattern. This is seen in about 15% of dermatofibromas.
