Dot hemorrhages and surrounding hemosiderin (iron) pigmentation
History:
A pigmented purpuric dermatosis like this is usually due to venous stasis with dot hemorrhages from leaking capillaries. The iron in the red blood cells stains the skin an orange brown colour.
