Description: Two coloured lesion
History:
This lesion was noted during a routine skin examination. The inferior portion had the well defined branching vessels of a BCC but the upper portion was dark structureless with dots at the periphery. It did not look like a pigmented BCC or a melanoma but you could not exclude that superiorly.
The excised lesion showed a nodular BCC inferiorly with a benign compound nevus superiorly with normal maturation of cells at the base.
