Site: Nails
Diagnosis: Onychomatricoma
Sex: M
Age: 60
Type: Dermlite Polarised
Submitted By: Ian McColl
Description: Pigmented nail
History:
This lesion was related to nail trauma 2 years before. Recently there had been some hemorrhage into the linear depression. When presented to the Skin Cancer College blog there was discussion as to whether this was an onychopapilloma rather than an onychomatricoma but I believe it is the latter. A true end on view of the hyponychium to show the tubule openings would have settled the matter!
