Description: Clinical view: an elevated, slightly ulcerated lesion of the neck.

History: A 52 years old lady who has noticed this lesion of the neck some months ago. It was a superficial basal-cell carcinoma with an unusual vascular pattern. The clues to the diagnosis being a small ulceration and some dirt-grey slightly pigmented areas.
