Description: Orange to brownish background pigmentation with small reddish to purpuric petechiae.

History: This 48-year-old woman demonstrates purple to bronze macules and patches which were slowly progressive on her legs. Biopsy proven Pigmented purpuric dermatitis(Schamberg disease). She was on no medications and had no evidence of tinea pedis or other cutaneous infections. The Pigmented purpuric dermatoses are characterized by extravasation of erythrocytes in the skin with marked hemosiderin deposition. Dermoscopic description: Orange to brownish background pigmentation with Small reddish to purpuric petechiae.
