History: This small lesion was encountered at a routine skin check. Excision biopsy was performed on suspicion of Spitz naevus and because of the recommendadtion by some experts that although benign, these lesions should be excised. The histology report read :- "Sections confirm a junctional naevus with some spitzoid features and evidence of regression...".
