Description: Circles gray and brown sum to the diagnosis of melanoma in situ. This lesion exhibits broadened pseudonetwork with blue-grey being a prominent colour. Although seborrhoeic keratosis was a differential diagnosis there are no clues to this ( such as milia-like cysts or keratin crypts)

History: This 68 year old man was unaware of this lesion encountered at a routine skin check. Histology was reported as a "...level 1 lentigo maligna melanoma with significant regression arising in an unstable solar lentigo."
