Description: Clinical

History: This pink plaque had been slowly enlarging over several years. Pearly borders, patchy regression and scaliness are evident macroscopically. Dermoscopy confirms these features and shows some sterotypical spokewheel structures. Histology: The sections show a pigmented BASAL CELL CARCINOMA, confirming your clinical suspicion. The tumour involves papillary dermis only with a multifocal, superficial type growth pattern.
