Diagnosis: Junctional lentiginous dysplastic nevus
Sex: M
Age: 78
Type: Dermlite Non Polarised
Submitted By: Alan Cameron
Description: Non-polarising. In both dermoscopy images the previous biopsy site simulates scar-like depigmentation
History: Previously biopsied as JLDN but not excised. Wife feels lesion has changed. Sections show a lentiginous and junctional dysplastic naevus of the elderly (Kossard variant). There is moderate to severe atypia but the changes fall short of melanoma in situ.
