Description: Dermoscopy - There is no pigment network nor are there any other melanocytic features. The pattern of pigment distribution is asymmetrical. There are 3 colours - light brown, dark brown and black. There are numerous brown dots of uniform size and evenly distributed. Thet are best appreciated in the enlarged view

History: This gentleman presented for a routine skin check. He had a past history of multiple non-melanoma skin cancers. Sections show a small pigmented intraepidermal carcinoma arising in a flat seborrhoeic keratosis. Margins are well clear of atypia.
