Description: Close up of pigmented lesion on sole of foot with involvement of both ridges and furrows. The colour is the reddish black of old blood.

History: This lesion was noted after a training run while wearing joggers. It shows subcorneal haemorrhage. It fills both the ridges and the furrows.
